Small, engineer-run, on purpose
Hosting 4 Me (h4me) sets up and runs hosting and infrastructure for a limited number of clients, with direct contact to the person doing the work.
What we are
A small practice for managed hosting and infrastructure: servers, application and web hosting, email, migrations, monitoring and DevOps advice. We work with developers, agencies and small companies who want their infrastructure handled properly without hiring a full-time administrator.
What we are not
- a self-service hosting shop with a shopping cart;
- a ticket queue where every message reaches someone new;
- tied to one data centre or one vendor.
Why small
Keeping the number of clients limited means every setup is built individually and every message is answered by someone who knows your system. It is also why there is no public price list: we would rather understand your project and send a proposal that fits it.
- 01
Talk to the engineer, not a ticket queue
The person you write to is the person who configures your server.
- 02
Any provider, no lock-in
Infrastructure where it fits you, worldwide, with a documented handover.
- 03
Built to be boring
Hardened defaults, TLS, backups and monitoring from day one.
- 04
Open, standard tooling
Linux, nginx or Apache, Docker, PostgreSQL, MariaDB. Nothing proprietary.
- 05
Clear scope
Every engagement starts with a written proposal: what we run and how you reach us.
